Koshkonong, MO — October 2, 2025 — Koshkonong Elementary is proud to announce its recognition at the recent PRiME Center Growth Data Summit, held in Columbia, Missouri. The summit, hosted by the PRiME Center at St. Louis University and supported by the Missouri Charter Public School Association (MCPSA), celebrated schools across the state for their outstanding student growth in English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics.

During the summit, the PRiME Center revealed that Koshkonong Elementary earned four prestigious awards for sustained academic growth from 2022 to 2024:

  • 🥇 1st in Mathematics Growth Among High-Poverty Schools

  • 🥈 2nd in Mathematics Growth Among Rural Schools

  • 🥉 3rd in Mathematics Growth For All Students

  • 🔟 10th in English Language Arts Growth Among Rural Schools

These awards reflect Koshkonong Elementary’s commitment to academic excellence and its dedication to supporting all learners. Certificates for each award have been provided by the PRiME Center and are attached to this announcement.

Since 2022, the PRiME Center has published annual Growth Reports to spotlight Missouri schools demonstrating the highest student growth. Next week, a special three-year edition of these reports will be released, highlighting schools like Koshkonong Elementary that have consistently produced exceptional growth over time.

The summit featured a keynote address from Missouri DESE Commissioner Dr. Karla Eslinger and welcomed educators, community leaders, and policymakers to discuss the Missouri Growth Score Model—a tool used to measure and celebrate instructional impact. Koshkonong Schools joined the conversation, sharing best practices and reaffirming their commitment to data-informed strategies that elevate student success.
