Legal Notice:
The Oregon-Howell RIII School District announces the opening
for three board of director seats (3 three-year terms) and one
1-year seat for the April 7, 2026 general election. Interested
candidates may file for candidacy at the Oregon-Howell RIII
School District’s Superintendent’s office.
The dates for filing are December 9, 2025 through December
30, 2025.
NEW REQUIREMENT: Candidates MUST electronically file form
5120 with MO DOR and print the completed form that includes
date and time submitted BEFORE filing for a board seat.
The superintendent’s office will be open during this time from
8:00 am to 4:00 pm with the exception of December 24 th
through December 26 th 2025 when the office will be closed for
the holidays. Filing will end on Tuesday December 30, 2025 at
5:00 pm.
If school is out due to inclement weather, the office will not be
open.
If the district is closed due to illness or other occurrence, board
candidate filings will be taken by appointment, except for the
first and last days when the office will be open. To make an

*Bluejay Nation will be on Christmas Break from December 22 – January 5. The superintendent's office will be open Dec. 22, 23, 29, and 30 for anyone wishing to file for a seat on the school board. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 6.
