FCCLA has your Saturday covered!! Join us in the elementary cafeteria for the Chocolate Festival and the Father (Someone Special)/Daughter Dance. Doors open at 12:00 p.m. You are welcome to come in for free and bid on items in our silent auction or you are welcome to pay $5 at the door and get 10 tickets to sample 10 items.
The dance will be held from 6:00-8:00pm. Each girl will receive a tiara. Finger foods and drinks will be provided.

Join us for PTO!!

Junior Student Council has been busy over the past couple of weeks!! They painted kindness rocks for beside the sidewalk to the playground, picked up trash along our walking track, and found some time to play a prank for April Fool's Day ("School for Sale" Sign). Proud of these kids and their sponsors!!










The time has come for our Bluejays to show up and show out with state testing for the 2024-2025 school year!! We are excited for our students to show how much they have improved this year. Grades 9-11 will be taking End of Course exams April 14-17 and grades 3-8 will be taking the Missouri Assessment Program tests April 21-25. Below are a few helpful things for our students to be relaxed and confident each day:
*Get a good night's sleep
*Eat a healthy breakfast with plenty of protein
*Be on time each day
We will be giving out daily prizes for those present on test day. Thank you and have a great weekend!!

Chocolate Festival
We would like to invite you to the Koshkonong Chocolate Festival. It will be held in the Koshkonong Cafeteria, on 4/12/25 doors open at 12:00 p.m. You are welcome to come in for free and bid on items that will be in our silent auction or you are welcome to pay $5 at the door and get 10 tickets to sample 10 items, they can be split amongst your family and friends. We are pleased to let you all know that Koshkonong School will be back in session tomorrow!! However, there are still a few county roads that the bus will not be able to travel due to the condition that they are in. I will list each of these roads at the bottom with the route driver that drives that route. We apologize that we will not be able to get to everyone, but this information has been sent on to the county so they can get them cleared up to run our bus routes in full as soon as possible!! Be aware that bus times could vary a little in the morning and we thank you for your patience and understanding!!

Quiz Bowl competed at Winona on Friday for the BSC Tournament. Tyler Welty and Brody Hunsperger brought individual awards for JV; Derrik Villavicencio and Tristan Collins brought individual awards for Varsity. Congratulations and good luck at districts on April 12!!
Due to the additional forecasted rain, severe storm threats, already saturated bus routes and high low water crossings Koshkonong School will not be in session on Friday, April 4th. Please stay safe and stay dry!!

After careful consideration and monitoring the future weather, Koshkonong School will be dismissing today at 12:45 PM. If you need to make arrangements for your child please call the Elementary or High school office. We will send buses at 12:45 and we will run a bus to the Civic Center.
We wanted to take a moment to inform all parents and guardians that we will be monitoring the weather continuously today to ensure the safety of all students and staff. In the event a severe storm hits at the time of dismissal we will be holding the buses until the storm clears and we can safely take students home.
Federal law requires our district to consult with parents on the design and implementation of programs. Oregon-Howell R-3 School will soon begin developing its Title I program for the 2025-2026 school year and we are asking you to help by filling out this questionnaire. The Walking/Running Club will not meet Wednesday, April 2nd,due to the weather. The Walkathon will be held April 9th instead.

Bluejay Nation is proud of the students who represented our school at the Howell County Spelling Bee today!! There were approximately 220 participants. Tristan placed 2nd and Olivia placed 3rd in 7th grade. Chloe placed 4th in 2nd grade. Great job to everyone!!
