Informational Release from Oregon-Howell R-III:
Students and coaches of the Koshkonong School District were returning to school after basketball games last night when their school bus was involved in an accident on Highway 99. Law enforcement and emergency crews responded to the accident. Superintendent Bryant would like to thank all emergency responders, parents, volunteers, students, and other school staff for their quick action and for putting the safety of our students and staff first and foremost.
All families of the students involved were notified. Students and staff with injuries were taken to the hospital for treatment. We are so thankful that everyone has been medically released. We will have counselors available for any student who needs assistance during this time. The District’s protocols for bus accidents are being implemented. Superintendent Bryant thanks everyone in the community for their thoughts and concerns.
