Koshkonong Schools is proud to announce a generous donation from BLICK Art Materials, a leading provider of art supplies, to support arts education in our district. The funds were used to purchase a high-quality paper cutter for classroom and club use, fulfilling a critical need in our PK–12 art program.
The donation was made in response to a request from Gloria Wood, art teacher and advisor to the school’s art club, who emphasized the importance of accessible materials in a rural, low-income community. “The paper cutter and colored pencil sets on my wish list would be implemented daily in my PK–12 classroom and with my school's art club,” Wood wrote in her application. “We are a small rural school with approximately 200 students. The classroom is often the only exposure many of my students get to the arts.”
This contribution from BLICK Art Materials ensures that students at Koshkonong Schools have access to essential tools that support creativity, precision, and hands-on learning. The new equipment will be used across grade levels and in extracurricular activities, enriching the artistic experiences of students who might not otherwise have access to such resources.
Koshkonong Schools extends heartfelt thanks to BLICK Art Materials for their commitment to arts education and their support of rural schools. Community members are encouraged to follow and tag @blickartmaterials on social media to share their appreciation and showcase student creations made possible by this donation.
