Jr. High softball/baseball practice will start on Tuesday, August 19th, 3:45-5:15.

Call the school office — we'll make sure your student gets the message or comes to the office if needed. If a student needs to make an urgent call, phones are available in the main office.

The Oregon-Howell R-III School District is proud to announce we have received official confirmation of our approval for the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). This means ALL our students will receive FREE meals (breakfast and lunch) during the 2025-2026 school year!!
The CEP only applies to the 2025-2026 school year. All remaining meal account balances unpaid from previous school years must still be paid. You may pay on those balances at anytime throughout the year in the elementary or high school offices. If you need to discuss payment arrangements, please contact the school.

The classrooms are decorated, the floors all waxed, and our staff is excited to see all the Bluejays!!
The 2025-2026 school year will begin on Tuesday, August 19th.
Student arrival will begin at 7:15am and the school day will be from 7:30pm-3:30pm.
We are ready to make this the best year yet!!

Join us Thursday evening for our Open House event!! 🌭 Supper will be provided in the cafeteria beginning at 5:30pm (donation only) thanks to the Kosh Betterment Foundation. 📊MAP/EOC scores will be available 📕 2024-2025 Yearbooks are available in the library for $30. 📝 Students have the opportunity to complete a scavenger hunt around campus and then enjoy the inflatable obstacle course in the gym. We are looking forward to seeing everyone back on campus!!

Volleyball and Cross Country official practice for the Fall season begin Monday. 🏃‍♂️🏐🏃‍♀️ Athletes must have a current physical on file to practice as per MSHSAA and 14 official practices to compete in events.

The ladies in the kitchen have a delicious menu for our first week back!! We can't wait to see everyone on the first day of school, August 19th!!

Join our team!! The Oregon-Howell R-III School District is accepting applications for elementary secretary to the principal for the 2025-2026 school year. Applications are available through the district website at www.koshkonongschool.org

Position will remain open until a suitable candidate is hired.

Supply lists for students in preschool through 8th grade are posted. Due to course choices, high school students will need basics of paper/pencils and teachers will give lists of any additional items the first day of school.

Seniors: MCV
Students must have proof of vaccinations or exemptions turned in by the first day of school or they will not be able to start classes. Contact your local health department to schedule an appointment.

All students grades 6-12 who plan to participate in athletics must have a current physical on file prior to practicing.

July 28th through August 1st parking lot closed for asphalt repairs.

The 2025-2026 West Plains Bus Schedule has been released. There will be three locations for pickup/drop-off each morning and afternoon. Students who plan to leave their vehicle for the day will need to use the Civic Center pickup location. Our Activities Bus will continue to leave campus at 5:00 and drop students off at the Civic Center at approximately 5:30. We are looking forward to a great year!!
